Selecting The Perfect Jewelry For Her
She would be happy and surprised when she opened the box and saw that he picked out such beautiful jewelry as a crystal necklace. These were perfect. He thought of Grace. Beauty for the beautiful he thought as he exited the mall with the gift box in hand.
She wore necklaces at least three days a week. She must like necklaces. She wore them to work and also with jeans.
Then he wondered if his girl had too many necklaces already. There were such a variety of styles and colors and he thought maybe she would like something different. The blue stones in one seemed especially nice. Grace wore blue a lot.
He stopped at the display case and spotted four sparkling blue necklaces. One was a gold chain with one blue stone, seemingly removable, on it. He asked the salesperson how much it was.
He examined the necklaces with more than one stone and decided they were intricate and delicate. He liked those. Then his thoughts turned to earrings. There were a lot of those to look at.
Zak moved over to the earring display. He looked at two dozen beautiful pairs of rhodium earrings lined up in the case. He asked a few questions about rhodium and the saleslady answered him pleasantly.
It was obvious that he didn't know much about jewelry. She told him a little about prices and why they were different depending on the materials used. She saw him turn his gaze toward the earrings.
He talked about the special evening he had planned to celebrate his girlfriend's twentieth birthday. He would take flowers when he picked her up. Then they were going to dinner where they would sit in their favorite booth. He already had the reservations made.
He had ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to their table after the meal. The staff would sing happy birthday for her. The cake was strawberry, not his favorite, but it was hers.
A walk around the park was next on the agenda. They could chat as they walked slowly together. He even knew what to do if it rained. He was an intelligent guy and had several movie choices picked out in the event it did rain.
Finally, his eyes rested on one special pair of swarovski earrings. They were set with lavender stones of a substantial size. They would look so pretty with the lavender blouses she often wore.
He could visualize her delight as she opened the box on her birthday. These were the ones. These were perfect as the special birthday present he wanted to give Grace on her special day. Beauty for beauty he mused as he smiled on his way out of the store.
